It opened in Kochi city, in the south of Japan, on the 11th April, 1983. The essence of culture absorbed through various activities in NY or Tokyo is rooted in Kochi by our original technique. The activity does not remain in an unitary thing, but appears on aerobics, jazz lessons, talk show, television, radio, a magazine for town news, etc, and became the first existence in which the culture of jazz and aerobics being rooted in Kochi.
Since the establishment, we have been emphasizing musicals. It became the forerunner of musical heat in Kochi. Our dancers have been continuing going out to Tokyo and the US. It means also that our dance has been spreading out to the world.
We added Jazz dance and Hip-Hop dance to the Yosakoi dance which started in Kochi in 1950th. It made a new dance stream with both the new and the old.
It went out to the all over Japan and became one Japanese culture.
This activity wishing that the world will be nice to everyone is called.
"Yosakoi Nippon". It has influenced other festivals and people in Japan.
Suga Jazz Dance Studio, as Yosakoi Nippon Team, has been organizing Yosakoi Nippon and attending other festivals in Japan and other countries as well. This has shown a completely new style of festival. We have three dance studio in Japan. The studio in Kagawa Prefecture is playing an active roll as IZANAI Academy school to raise new generation.

She graduated from the Touhou University, the department of theater and joined Shiki Theater Company. Then she became a freelancing dancer and worked on various stages, shows and musicals. Then she came back to her home town, Kochi, and established Suga Jazz Dance Studio. As a dancer, a choreographer and a musical director, she has been working in TV, Radio, lectures and so on. One of her achievements is mixing modern taste snd classical Japanese dance, Yosakoi Naruko dance. In the beginning of 1980th, she created a sensation at Yosakoi Naruko festival. Since then, she has brought her original and powerful dance to other Yosakoi festivals in other parts of Japan. She is still doing a producer and adviser of other dance teams and festivals at more than 60 cities. In Maui Island, Hawaii, she started John Manjiro IZANAI Festival.
In 2000, she started Yosakoi Nippon as a new Project.

In 2002, the 57th national athlete meet took place in Kochi, and Suga choreographed modern Yosakoi dance for the opening ceremony. In 2004,Star Nation which is a combination of Yosakoi festival and musicals was a great hit. Since she established IZANAI academy school in Kagawa prefecture, it has been her main work to train the younger generation.

Besides that, she goes to Honolulu, Soul and New York to express her passion for dance.
She has an another interest in energy work. In 1996, she established Love Star Corpotration in Maui Island, Hawaii, and in 1999, she opened Hoku Aloha O Ke Kula as an energy work school for people who need to be healed.
